August’s Previews Picks

Robin: Son of Batman #5, page 117: This book has been a favorite of mine for last few months. Damian unfiltered.

The Kitchen TP, page 140: The story of three wives having to take up the jobs of 3 Irish gangsters in 1970’s New York, and how addicting that power is once you start.

Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, page 154: Fear and Loathing was one of the Bibles of my early Twenties. It will be nice to read an illustrated version.

Atomic Robo and the Ring of Fire #2, page 171: Atomic Robo is back!

Injections, Vol 1, page 203: There is another world out there trying to get in. All she wants is a sandwich.

I Hate Fairyland #1, page 210: Skottie Young telling a devishly interesting premise on a little girl stuck in a fairy land.

Superfight: The Card Game Core Deck, page 235: A card game in which you argue who would win in a fight between 2 super-heroes. Sound like youtube comment section.

Min’ Max Tshirt, Page 271: Mad Max/Minions smash-up shirt.

Giant Days vol 1 TP, page 304 : Back to the awkward, and large beginning days of college.

Battling Boy: Fall of the House of West GN, page 356: One of Paul Pope’s best runs in comics gets its third installment.

Invader Zim #4, page 397: Its going to be awkward and painful for Zim, and for one, can’t wait.

Superman Truth T-Shirt, page 493: Get the new t-shirt that Clark Kent is wearing in the comics.

Grand Jester: “What’s Opera, Doc?” Mini Busts, page 556: A Bugs and Elmer set of busts for one of the greatest cartoon shorts ever produced.

Extraordinary X-Men #1 and 2, page M38: Jeff Lemire on a X-book. Looks good. And is that Colossus with a beard!?

Guardians of the Galaxy #1, page M40: Rocket Raccoon in charge? Thing in space? Nothing bad has ever happened when those two things have happened.
